Description

This illustration is one of nine pencil sketch reconstructions produced in the mid to late 1990s, four of which were reproduced on page 13 of the 1999 English Heritage guidebook for Pendennis and St Mawes Castles. The drawings illustrate the tasks involved in preparing and loading the two six-inch guns mounted at Half Moon Battery.
