Description

This illustration was designed to demonstrate the various known types of Bronze Age barrows found in the area. There are (top to bottom): large and small bowl barrows, a bell barrow, a disc barrow, a saucer barrow and a pond barrow.

The illustration has been reproduced on page 24 of the 2005 English Heritage guidebook for Stonehenge, on page 26 of the 2012 guidebook and again on page 26 of the 2013 guidebook.
