Description

Martin Tower was constructed between 1238 and 1275 and is situated at the north-east corner of the inner curtain wall of the Tower of London. It underwent extensive alterations in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries; a depiction of the earlier form of the tower can be seen in illustration IC102/007.
