Description

The illustrations are reproduced as figures 29a and 29b on page 44 of the English Heritage Book of Ironbridge Gorge by Catherine Clark (1993).

IC146/008 shows Upper Forge circa 1847, after the front of the building had been remodelled and was in use as a stables and mill.
