Description
This illustration is attached to an overlay sheet annotated with various text labels: 'series impedence', 'field equipment circuit','gas discharge tube (GDT)', 'protected equipment/ circuit', and 'surge diodes', indicating the locations of text to be incorporated into the final published version of the illustration. The illustration was reproduced on page 6 of English Heritage's guidance notes entitled 'Surge Protection Equipment: A guide to selection and installation in historic buildings', published in 2003.
