The drawing is based on, with the consent of Edmund Kirby & Sons, Culshaw’s drawings in the Lancashire Record Office, DDX 162, 29/11–12, and 35–39. It is reproduced as Figure 58 on page 53 of ‘Built on Commerce: Liverpool's central business district’ by Joseph Sharples and John Stonard (2008).
