WHALTON WHALTON VILLAGE NZ 1281 (North side) 11/176 Front garden wall, railings and gate 23.4.69 piers to Whalton House GV II Garden wall, railings and gate piers, probably early C19. Squared rubble with cut dressings, wrought-iron. Wall with slightly-raised coping carrying spiked railings with vase finials. To right similar quadrant walls and gate piers with moulded pyramidal caps, linking to walled garden (q.v.). To left similar end pier.
