Statue of John Bright MP. Died 1889, erected October 1891.
Designed by Hamor Thornycroft. Stone. Statue stands on tapering square pedestal with cornice and moulded base, on stylobate. Inscribed on all sides with various quotes and insignia including "Rochdales greatest townsman". The statue was originally located on the Town Hall Square.
