4/152 Pottery Cottage 29.6.1966 (formerly listed as Pot House School - II

Sunday-School, now house. "Pottery Wesleyan Methodist Sunday School 1825" on plaque above door. Watershot stone with stone slate roof. Hall, now split by partitions and with C20 timber porches to front and rear doors. A small boiler room adjoins at rear. 3-bay, 1-storey openings have semi-circular arches with impost blocks and C20 casements.

The school was used as a chapel until the construction of Syke Chapel.
