SADDLEWORTH DELPH NEW ROAD SD 90 NE (north side) 3/81 No. 4 - (Tameside) G.V. II House. 1816 on keystone. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with graduated stone slate roof. Single-depth plan with 3 bays and 2 storeys. Projecting plinth. Central door has fanlight, square-cut surround and semi-circular head with dated keystone and impost blocks. Tripartite sash windows in bays 1 and 3 have central 12-pane sashes, square-cut surrounds and wedge lintel. First floor bay 2 has a single 12-pane sash window. Shaped eaves gutter brackets. Roof is hipped to right. Side-wall chimney stacks. Left gable and part of rear are rendered. Arched stair window to rear as well as a small lean-to extension.
