Tall early C19. 3 storey corner house - possibly originally to do with the Kennet and Avon canal. 2x2 bays, glazing bar sashes. Painted brick, originally red and grey chequered with stucco quoins to Pell Street. 2 gables to Pell Street. Stucco to Elgar Road. Brick block cornice. Tiled roof. Central chimney stack. Large C20 pub premises on ground floor.
