SADDLEWORTH HUDDERSFIELD ROAD SD 91 SE (north side) Denshaw 1/156 Nos. 1 and 3 - (Junction House) G.V. II Includes No. 2 (Junction House) Ripponden Road (east side).

House, now 3 houses. Early C19. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with graduated stone slate roof. L-shaped plan with 2 storeys, central staircase and 7 x 3 bays. Quoins.

Symmetrical 5-bay facade with 2 bays added to right. Door in bay 3 with architrave, enriched frieze and cornice. 6 ground floor and 7 first floor sash windows with square-cut surrounds. Addition to right (No. 4) has gable entrance with rusticated surround and keystone lintel. Shaped eaves gutter brackets and ridge chimney stacks. 3-bay left elevation has similar windows and a door with pediment on console brackets.
