PUDDLETOWN SY 7594 MILL STREET 14/91 Bridge over River Piddle, and wall along south side of river, extending west from the bridge to the gap filled by railing

Bridge over river and adjacent wall. Probably early C19. The bridge, of brick, has 3 shallow segmental arches with projecting keystones. Solid parapet with shaped stone coping. Along the south side of the river a wall, partly of rubble stone, with shaped coping. Small gap in this with stone steps leading down to river.
