HAPPISBURGH WHIMPWELL STREET TG 33 SE (east side) 5/49 St. Anne's including outhouse 11.3.85 G.V. II

House. 1900 by Detmar Blow. Vernacular Domestic Revival style. Pebble flint with brick dressings, some brick walls and thatched roof. 2 storeys in 5 bays with north wing forming L plan. Garden front illuminated through one ground floor 4-light, one 3-light and one 2-light casement windows with brick and tile dressings. 4 2-light first floor casements. Central 2 storey entrance gable with boarded door under hipped wooden canopy on brackets.

Rectangular first floor window with sun-dial above, and brick parapeted gable with central finial. Off centre (to west) external chimney breast and stack piercing eaves. Brick kneelers and parapets, off centre brick ridge stack.

West gable with brick diapering. North wing of flint and brick to road and brick returns. Flint and brick outhouse to east under hipped thatched roof linked to house by wall.
