TG 03 NW BRINTON SHARRINGTON 4/59 Valley Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C17 or earlier. Plastered garden front with flint and brick dressed returns and rere. High pitched roof with black glazed pantiles to front, red pantiles to rere. Irregular bayed front with 3 ground floor casements 3-light and 4 first floor 2-light casements. Early C19 door-case and door. Eaves, west-end and off-centre stacks. East gable with brick kneelers, parapet and clustered four chimney end-stack with exposed rectangular base suggesting earlier higher roof pitch. West gable with C17 oak door frame with end stops and 6-panelled door with ogee head possibly re-positioned. Rere outshut and gable north wing, C17.
