1881. 1 storey, attic and basement, 3 windows. High pitched, hipped tiled roof.
Bell cote with lead ogee cupola. Later dormer inserted at left. Red brick walls.
Slightly projecting central sections under high Dutch gable, has round headed window on half landing above main floor and door beneath on half landing below.
Pilasters with terra-cotta leaf decoration, paired at ends of building and single at either side of centrepiece, support moulded and dentilled cornice. They rest on cornice of basement floor, which is slightly lower at left to accommodate slope of hill, and have small brick aprons below. Gauged, flat brick arches to side windows, whose keystone supports moulded cornice and pediment with egg and dart moulding. Oval, terra cotta medallion above left window. Central window and door in round arched recess upon whose keystone rests a small pilaster which supports cornice of Dutch gable with round head over. 3 ball finials to gable.
steps to door with stone architrave, alternating block jambs, frieze, cornice and pediment, both with egg and dart moulding. In tympanum inscription "AD 1881" and swag. High basement windows, 3 grouped casements each side. Up left return shallow flight of steps to playground level.
