5/195 Cartshed/granary and bothy 100 metres north-east of Rennington South-East Farmhouse GV II

Cartshed/granary and bothy. Early Cl9. Squared tooled stone with tooled-and- margined dressings: Welsh slate roof. L-plan. North wall 2 storeys, 5 bays; segmental arcade below chamfered window openings with slightly-projecting sills; hipped roof. Right return shows external stone stair to boarded door.

Left return 3 bays, 1 storey. Left part is bothy; end bay shows boarded door in chamfered surround, with Percy crescent above; 2-light chamfered mullioned window to right. Left end gable shows pitched coping; stepped-and-corniced ridge stack. Rear elevation of bothy shows 1st floor 4-pane sash in chamfered surround with slightly-projecting sill, and part-slatted window in end wall of outshut on right.

Interior: Bothy has old range by Reavell Bros. Ltd. of Alnwick.
