NU 12 SE NU 18982004 RENNINGTON ROCK MIDSTEAD 2/204 Limekiln south of Kiln Plantation, 700 metres south- east of Rock Midstead II

Limekiln. Probably early C19. Roughly-coursed rubble and brick; cut quoins and dressings. Nine-sided plan with charging ramp on east. Three round- headed drawing arches corbelling down to segmental stone arch holding brick wall with twin round-arched eyes.

An unusally well-preserved example of a solitary lime kiln.
