5283 (South Side) BROADSTAIRS Disused Reservoir, south of Crampton Tower TR 3967 NE 5/110A II

This was part of the waterworks built by Thomas Russell Crampton in 1859. It is dome shaped, 29 ft in diameter and 18 ft high. Brick inside and flint and daub outside top of dome of brick and shallow chimney. The dome is surmounted by a square wooden ventilation box.
