KIRKBY MALHAM MAIN STREET SD 86 SE (West Side) 6/10 Lamberts Halt GV II House. C18. Limewashed rubble, stone dressings, stone slate roof. Two storeys, 2 bays. Gable end to street contains entrance with chamfered surround and basket- arched head. Left-hand return was formerly double fronted, but central entrance is now partially blocked to form a window with plain surrounds and C20 casements.
Ground floor and upper floor windows are all 3-light with plain surrounds and recessed flat-faced mullions containing C20 fixed lights and casements. Gable end stone stacks. To the left is a parallel 2-storey 1-bay extension, whose gable end contains an entrance and a ground and upper floor window, both formerly 2-lights with plain surrounds and recessed flat-faced mullions but the ground floor mullion is now gone.
