Statue, one of a group of 8 surrounding fountain 200 metres S of house.

Probably c.1835 for Thomas Philip 2nd Earl de Grey. Marble figure on stone plinth, approximately 2.5 metres high in total. Standing female figure clasping draperies to herself, a small box on the floor at her heels.

Represents Pandora.
