YARCOMBE ST 20 NW 7/169 Middle Moorhayne Farmhouse - - II Farmhouse. Mid c19 with some C20 modernisation. Local stone and flint rubble with limestone ashlar quoins; stone rubble stacks topped with C19 brick; slate roof.

Plan: double depth plan farmhouse facing south. It has a front and back room either side of the central entrance hall and rear staircase. The rooms are heated by gable-end stacks. 2 storeys with integral lean-to service outshots to rear.

Exterior: symmetrical 3-window front of 16-pane sashes. The central doorway contains a C19 4-panel door. There is a secondary glass-roofed verendah across the front. The sprocketted eaves are carried on shaped eaves brackets. The roof is gable-ended with shaped bargeboards.

Interior: not inspected but original joinery and other detail probably survives.
