4/288 Thomas Williams monument about 50 yards south of the east end of the south aisle of the Church of St George

GV II

Chest tomb for Thomas Williams, died 1767. Finely cut ashlar. Moulded and hipped capping, corner balusters; side panels with deeply moulded margins, quadrant corners and paterae. Sited near the churchyard cross (qv) and one of the earliest decipherable chest tombs in the churchyard.
