Description

Two sugar silos were built by Laing for the British Sugar Corporation Limited at the Bardney Sugar Factory. The prestressed post-tensioned concrete silos were made with sliding formwork using hydraulic climbing jacks.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
