Description

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital was a replacement for two existing hospitals in Norwich and at the time was the country's largest PFI hospital to reach construction phase. John Laing plc was the main contractor on the building project with work starting in 1998. The hospital was opened in 2001. This photograph was published in July 1999 featuring in an article about the project in Laing's monthly newsletter 'Team Spirit'.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
