Description

Free-standing marble sculpture by John Charles Felix Rossi, 1803. Monument to Captain Robert Faulknor, who died 1795. On a rectangular podium are three figures, the centre of which is holding a trident while supporting a collapsing man with a broken sword. To the right of the central figure is a winged figure who holds a wreath above the collapsing man's head.
