Sir John Puckering's (1544-1596) tomb is in the background of the photograph, and the effigies of Puckering and his wife are visible from their right hand side. At the base of their tomb are statuettes to represent their three sons and five dughters. The tomb extends higher than the photograph shows, and is highly decorated. It is unsure who scupted/ designed this tomb. It was restored and repainted in 1962.
In the foreground is the tomb of Sir Giles Daubeney (1452-1508) and his wife. The feet of the Daubeney's effigies can be seen, although the faces are obscured. The base is decorated with shields, although family crests are not visible. The tomb has been heavily restored in the 19th century, and railings now surround the tomb tp preserve it.
