THE EAST END OF CHIRST CHURCH, GLIMPSED BEYOND THIS ROW OF HOUSES IN 1726, IS A REMINDER THAT FOURNIER STREET WAS ORIGINALLY CHURCH STREET. IT RETAINED ITS BACK GARDENS MORE THAN MOST SPITALFIELD STREETS BUT THEY HAD LONG GONE WHEN THIS DRAWING WAS MADE. The archive object is signed F.A. Evans.
This is part of the Series: LCC01/01 Lcc/Glc Historic Buildings Survey Drawings; within the Collection: LCC01 Greater London Council and London County Council
