Description

The original drawings were a record plan of the newly constructed buildings. There are front elevations of the Wardens House and Prison and a drawing which shows a section through the Prison and the front elevation of the drill shed behind. The original drawing was presumable created at the same time as the first in this job and was signed on the 13th February 1874. On 28th October 1903 extensive revisions including the addition of an extension to the prison warden's house, the drawing of a new section through the altered Drill Shed and the additions of doors, windows and partitions in various places were added to the plan in red pen. At the same time corrections were made to the original drawings based on actual measurements and the foundations were added or amended.

Later still the drawings of the Drill Shed were crossed out marked 'Demolished'.
