Description

The original drawings were a record plan of the newly constructed buildings. There are side elevations and sections of the Wardens House, Drill Shed, Latrine, boundary wall and Prison. The original drawing was presumably created at the same time as the first in this job and was signed on the 13th February 1874. On 28th October 1903 extensive revisions including the conversion of the drill shed and various cells to store rooms and the addition of doors, windows, chimneys and partitions in various places were added to the plan in red pen. At the same time corrections were made to the original drawings based on actual measurements and the foundations were added or amended.

Later still the drawings of the Drill Shed were crossed out marked 'Demolished'.
