Description

The drawing shows the level of later paving, and a dotted line is labelled 'junction with present south wing.' It is faintly annotated 'Reduction by 4 2 copies Bill Startin.' This links it to Startin's excavations between 1976 - 1980, although the drawing style more probably links it to the time of the article by Startin, Dixon and Hayfield in the Archaeological Journal, vol.146, 1989. The drawing itself does not appear in the article.
