The item was drawn by J. Cox and shows all four faces of the timber. Extensive areas of worm attack, rot, nail holes, mortices, charring, and peg holes are labelled. An annotation reads 'this timber is approx. 1200mm shorter than average. Inspectorate advice on repair is requested.'
