Description

The item was drawn by J. Cox on translucent graph paper. All four faces of the timber are shown, with the eaves end and the ridge end labelled. Mortices, waney edges, and peg holes are shown. Vertical red lines mark off half-metre divisions, and horizontal blue lines divide the south and upper faces from the north and under faces. Sections, drawn looking towards the ridge end of the rafter, have been drawn on each half-metre line beginning at 1.5 metres.
