The original plan is in pen and ink and includes some measurements of windows and other features. These have subsequently been added to and revised in pencil, although whether before or after construction is unclear. A scale is given below the plan but there is no scale bar. The position of the foundations and basements below ground level is indicated by dashed lines. The plan was signed by four officers between the 5th October 1867 and the 25th March 1868. To the right is a small stepped chart indicating the rooms in the building, although how this relates to the plan is unclear. This plan is number four in the original job.
