Description

The plan also has the following note: "The coast from the Andrews to the Right Flank of the Intrenchment cannot be approached nearer than Random Shot Distance (on Account of the Flats) by any Vessel of Force. The only Track for Men of War to pass thro' to hurt the Left Flank is very narrow, between the Fort and the Alter Rock, in the Direction shown in the Plan". The plan has the monogram Thomas Hyde Page Esquire in the bottom right hand corner.
