Description

The survey shows the custodian's ticket office and two turrets near the outer moat, with a label indicating a new hipped lead roof to be constructed on the office building. The drawing was created by Bain Swan Architects for the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England, during the design stage of proposed works on the ticket office. There is a handwritten note on the sheet in colour ink reading 'G C Works II [..]'.
