Description

The 'Principal Entrance' at Osborne is probably the 'Osborne Lodge' of MP/OSH0007. Although there is no label to say so, it is most likely that the drawings derived from Cubitt's work at Osborne in the 1850s. The original drawing shows a design plan of the ground floor with some measurements marked, and some faint later pencil annotations made after 1927.
