The item was probably created between 1846, when the Pavilion was completed, and 1851, when the main wing was completed. The drawings show a plan of the closet and the connecting corridor, with a sectional elevation and an elevation showing columns and an arch. The drawings are hand-tinted, and have measurements and notes. There are also pencil annotations. The item was probably created by Thomas Cubitt's firm.
