The drawing is hand-tinted, and the basement level is shown, as well as the ground, first and second floors. In pencil on the original 'Osborne House S.W.' is written. Although the drawing bears the number 'Works 37/16' , and '16' in red ink, the drawing was probably created by Thomas Cubitt's firm between 1846 and 1851.
