Description

The drawings consist of a south and an east elevation, with a sectional elevation and a ground floor plan. The drawings have been hand-tinted. The drawing number is 1D, and there are later numbers 10450 and 4390/13A. There is a stamp on the front, with the number 19586, and the date 2.5.05. On the back in red ink is written the details of the drawing and the note: 'Tracings sunprints to: Portsmouth 10.6.05, D.W.14261/04/5737. Recorded in drawing office 2.5.05. These are "True scale" prints taken from sunprints & tracings lent for copying Mr Jn Hawks, Office of Works, 20.4.05, and returned to him 2.5.05, semi-officially'.
