The plan is dated November 8 1905, and shows the naval college buildings: the officers' quarters, class rooms, gymnasium and cadets' dormitories are hand-tinted in pink. The plans are labelled with coloured lines with a key, showing the heating apparatus. Most of the buildings, except the classrooms, the petty officers' quarters and the cricket pavilion, have been scribbled over roughly with blue crayon, which indicates that they were demolished 1934-5. An Admiralty stamp has the number 21003 and the date 25.1.06. There is a pencilled drawing number on the front: 10442. On the back is the stamp 'Osborne Naval College' and in red ink: 'Sunprint to:- Portsmouth 30.1.06 D.W. 16835/922'. Below this is the stamp 'Recorded in Drawing office 25.1.06' and underneath is written: 'Sunprinted from drawings supplied by Messers. Simpson [?] & Co. Grosvenor Road S.W. to H.M. Office of Works [illegible] to D.W. on [illegible] D.W. 16885/05'.
