The item is copied from a drawing in the 1928 HMSO guide to Osborne by Sir Guy Laking. The original scale was 1/16" to 5 ft. On the copy, the broken line indicating the visitor route has been scribbled out in pencil. Annotations on the item are in pencil: 'others at PRO' and '828/1', and in ink, 'office copy' and '1963'.
