Description

From a survey in May 1919. The Aubrey holes, mounds, ditches, barrows and fences are labelled as well as suggested timber shores and the names of prominent stones. Standing and fallen stones are marked. Measurements for size and distance of the stones are listed. Section A-A shows the chalk formation of the Avenue.
