This infant school is a large building to accommodate 136 pupils, unlike the small, one roomed school attached to the school masters house in Grand Shaft Barracks. Traced from the contract plans and revised using actual measurements as a record drawing. The drawings include some measurements and notes about construction and utility pipes. The drawings are at 1" to 8 ft and the site plan at 1:2500. There is also a note of the dates of authorisation, commencement and completion, the estimated and actual costs, the contractors and the materials used.
