Description

The copied plan shows the existing profile of the area and gave the key for the tinting. The planned ground level after re-cutting is drawn by hand along with the cutting line. It is at 1" to 10 ft on the vertical scale and 1" to 20 ft on the horizontal scale. The plan is marked two of three. The third plan in this set showed the source of the turves for the new parade ground which were from near Langdon Barracks and have been catalogued with that site. See cross reference below.
