Description

The Odeon Cinema was opened in July 1937. The building was designed by Budge Reid of Harry W. Weedon's practice. The decorative panels on the walls of the auditorium were designed by Mollo and Egan. In 1975 the cinema was taken over by Brent Walker and was renamed the Focus Cinema. It closed in May 1983 and was demolished in September 1983.
