Description

The Odeon Cinema was opened in July 1937 and was designed by Budge Reid of Harry W. Weedon's practice. The cinema was renamed the Focus Cinema when it was taken over by Brent Walker in October 1975. It closed in May 1983 and was demolished in September 1983. Until 2004, Crewe War Memorial was located in Market Square. It was moved to Municipal Square as part of improvements to Market Square.
