Description

The current Lyceum Theatre was built in 1911, and replaced an 1887 theatre which burnt down in 1910. The theatre's name changed to Crewe Theatre in the mid-20th century, before reverting back to the Lyceum in 1978. In 1992 the theatre was redecorated and partially refurbished; it is not known whether this photograph was taken before or after this work.
