Description
The Regal Cinema opened in January 1939, with one screen and seating for over 1,000 people. A second screen with seating for 200 was added in the 1970s; the original auditorium was reduced to 927 seats. The cinema closed in January 2007 and the fittings were auctioned. The building was demolished in 2013.
