Description

The New Picture House opened in 1913, and was later renamed the Villa Cross Picture Palace or Villa Cross Picture House, and then the Villa Cross Cinema. It closed in 1970 and became a bingo hall. The building was damaged by fire during the Handsworth race riots of 1985 and was subsequently demolished.
